NEET-PG Exam Centre Allocation Confusion Leaves Candidates Worried;

The allocation of NEET-PG examination centres has caused confusion and anxiety among students. The NEET-PG examination is scheduled to be held across the country on August 30, but errors have reportedly occurred in communicating the exam-centre details to candidates.While candidates were allotted examination centres in one city, some received SMS messages stating that their centres had been assigned in a different city. In some cases, candidates reportedly received messages indicating that their exam centres were located as far as 2,000 kilometres from their hometowns.

Responding to the confusion, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) said the incorrect information in the SMS messages was caused by a technical error. The board clarified that the actual examination-centre details are available on the candidates’ portals and advised them to check the information there.Meanwhile, the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi expressed shock over the disclosure of the charge sheet and the names of witnesses in the NEET-UG paper leak case. The court also pointed out that some of the witnesses are minors.
