No Exam… Direct Chance in ISRO!

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), under the Department of Space, Government of India, has released a major recruitment notification through its Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB) for the posts of Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’. A total of 92 vacancies are available across multiple engineering disciplines including Electronics (34), Mechanical (26), Computer Science (13), Civil (10), Electrical (4), Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (2), Architecture (2), and Civil (PRL) (1). Candidates with a minimum of 65% marks in BE/B.Tech or equivalent qualification in the relevant discipline are eligible to apply. The maximum age limit is 28 years as on the closing date. Notably, there will be no written examination, and selection will be based on GATE score, shortlisting, and interview. Interested candidates can apply online until August 17, 2026. The application fee is ₹250 for General candidates, while SC, ST, PwBD, and women candidates are exempted. Selected candidates will receive a starting salary of ₹56,100 per month along with allowances as per central government norms.
