

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan released the first installment of funds under the ‘Annadata Sukhibhava – PM Kisan’ scheme for the financial year 2026-27. A total of ₹99.58 crore was credited to the accounts of 2.73 lakh farmer families in Kakinada district. The funds were released during the ‘Mana Ooru Maata Manti’ program in the presence of farmers, highlighting the government’s commitment to agricultural welfare.
Across the state, nearly 47 lakh farmers will receive ₹7,000 each as part of the first installment. The amount includes ₹2,000 from the Central Government and ₹5,000 from the State Government. While the PM Kisan scheme provides ₹6,000 annually in three installments, the Andhra Pradesh government under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has added ₹14,000, taking the total annual assistance to ₹20,000 per farmer. Pawan Kalyan stated that the coalition government remains committed to supporting farmers despite financial challenges.
