Police Crack Down on Gudumba and Matka Activities in Bejjur

Police in Bejjur mandal of Komaram Bheem Asifabad district have taken preventive action against 17 people allegedly involved in activities such as gudumba production or sale, matka gambling and cockfighting. The individuals were produced before the Bejjur Executive Magistrate and Tahsildar and bound over to help prevent further unlawful activities and disturbances to public peace.

Bejjur Sub-Inspector Ramesh warned that strict action would be taken against anyone found manufacturing or selling gudumba, organising matka gambling or conducting cockfights in the mandal. He urged residents to inform the police about suspicious activities and illegal businesses. According to the SI, the identities of those providing information will be kept confidential.
