An awareness meeting was conducted at the Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala under the supervision of the Police, Vigilance, and Security Departments to strengthen pilgrim services, maintain the sanctity of the holy shrine, and ensure compliance with regulations governing commercial activities. Authorities emphasized the importance of providing quality services to devotees while upholding law and order, safety standards, and religious harmony in the temple town.
Shop owners were instructed to prominently display price boards, avoid unauthorized sub-leasing of shops, refrain from encouraging unlicensed hawkers, and strictly follow fire safety regulations. They were also directed to verify employee backgrounds, submit staff details to authorities, and maintain cordial behavior with devotees. The participants assured full cooperation with police, vigilance, and security departments in preserving Tirumala’s sanctity, ensuring public safety, and reporting any suspicious activities. Around 350 shop owners attended the meeting along with officials from TTD, police, and vigilance departments.
