

The post mortem examination of medico student Priyanka’s body has been completed at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad, and her mortal remains were handed over to her parents. The body was taken to Eklaspuram village in Ieeja mandal of Jogulamba Gadwal district, where the final rites are scheduled to be performed this evening. Telangana Minister Vakiti Srihari, former MLA and AICC Secretary Sampath Kumar, and Rajahmundry MLA Srinivas paid their respects to Priyanka at the Gandhi Hospital mortuary and consoled her father.
Minister Vakiti Srihari described Priyanka’s death as extremely unfortunate and demanded strict punishment for those responsible. He said Chief Minister Revanth Reddy responded immediately and issued necessary instructions to the family and officials. The minister assured that the government would stand by Priyanka’s family and stressed the need for stringent measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. He also called for strict action against those who try to exploit loopholes in existing laws to escape punishment.
