

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to prepare a comprehensive Child Online Safety Framework to protect children from cybercrimes and ensure timely access to justice. Addressing the National Legal Services Authority’s South Zone Regional Conference in Hyderabad, he called for the framework to be prepared in consultation with the Telangana High Court and the State Legal Services Authority. He stressed the need for coordinated efforts by government departments and urged parents to understand their children’s online activities with care and awareness.
Revanth Reddy said police, Bharosa centres, child protection units, welfare committees, special courts and legal services authorities should work together to strengthen child protection. He highlighted Hyderabad’s child-friendly court and the training of more than 3,000 child protection officers. He urged children and parents to remember 1930 for cybercrime complaints and 1098 for child-related assistance. The Chief Minister also launched the ‘Nyaya Ratham’ mobile Lok Adalat vehicles and unveiled a ‘Commitment Wall’ at the conference.
