Questions Raised Over Ayodhya Silver Donation Worth Crores

Castles Group of Companies Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Raju V. Manwani stated that his organization donated 200 kilograms of silver bars to the Ayodhya Ram Temple on January 26, 2021. He said the silver was handed over to Champat Rai and was valued at approximately ₹1.5 to ₹2 crore at that time. According to current market rates, the same silver is now estimated to be worth between ₹6 crore and ₹7 crore.

Dr. Manwani said no receipt was issued when the donation was made, and the organization did not pursue the matter due to trust and goodwill. However, recent reports regarding alleged irregularities in donations have raised concerns about the status of the donated silver. He emphasized that donors have every right to seek information about their contributions and called for strict action against anyone found guilty of misusing donated assets.
