Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh attended the Combined Graduation Passing Out Parade at the Air Force Academy in Dundigal, Hyderabad, where 245 Air Force cadets successfully completed their training. Congratulating the graduating cadets, he said they were entering a force with a glorious legacy that played a decisive role in India's victories during the 1947-48 and 1971 wars. He urged the young officers to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and commitment while serving the nation.
Highlighting the changing nature of modern warfare, Rajnath Singh said future conflicts would increasingly rely on advanced technologies rather than conventional military strength alone. He stressed the importance of innovation, execution, and continuous preparedness within the Indian Air Force. Referring to the courage displayed during Operation Sindoor, he called upon the cadets to draw inspiration from the bravery of Air Force personnel. He also noted that India is strengthening its defence capabilities through the use of advanced equipment, radars, satellites, drones, and other cutting-edge technologies.
