Reliance Extends Massive Support to Assam Flood Victims

The Reliance Foundation has extended support to the people affected by the devastating floods in Assam. Reliance Foundation Founder and Chairperson Nita Ambani announced a ₹21 crore donation to the Assam Chief Minister's Relief Fund to assist flood-hit families. She expressed solidarity with the people of Assam, assuring them that they are not alone during this difficult time.

In addition to the financial assistance, Reliance Foundation teams are actively carrying out relief operations in flood affected districts, particularly Sivasagar and Charaideo. The teams are providing food, drinking water, healthcare services, emergency shelter, and other essential supplies to affected families. They have also installed water purification units, restored healthcare facilities, and are operating community kitchens.

The Foundation's Vantara teams are also extending veterinary care and support to livestock affected by the floods. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma appreciated Nita Ambani and the Reliance Foundation for their timely assistance, stating that the relief efforts have benefited thousands of people and are providing crucial support during the crisis.
