The Renukaswamy murder case has taken a significant turn, with accused Pradosh, listed as A14, approaching the court seeking to become an approver. According to his petition, Pradosh has detailed the events surrounding the alleged assault on Renukaswamy, claiming that actor Darshan confronted him over messages allegedly sent to Pavithra Gowda and that the victim was subjected to severe physical assault. Pradosh has further alleged that Pavithra Gowda was brought to the spot and that the assault continued thereafter. These claims are part of Pradosh’s petition and are yet to be adjudicated by the court.
Pradosh has also alleged that despite his warning about the seriousness of the assault, the attacks continued and Renukaswamy eventually collapsed. He claimed that after the victim’s death was noticed, discussions were held to conceal the actual circumstances and create an alternative account of the incident. Pradosh has told the court that he has disclosed everything he knows about the case and has sought to be kept in a separate cell for his safety. The court is yet to consider his request and decide on his plea to become an approver.
