Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is set to focus on Siddipet after his recent visit to Sircilla, the Assembly constituency represented by BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao. Revanth had earlier announced that he would visit Siddipet in October, and Congress leaders have been working on plans for a large public meeting in the constituency represented by former minister and BRS leader T. Harish Rao.
According to reports, the Chief Minister is expected to participate in a public meeting in Siddipet during the first week of October, along with the launch or inauguration of development works in the constituency. His Sircilla visit on September 30 included development programmes worth ₹345.78 crore and a public meeting where he targeted KTR politically. Congress sources have indicated that the Siddipet visit could similarly focus on issues involving Harish Rao, while BRS leaders have criticised the Chief Minister’s approach.
