RGV Warns AI Is the Real Threat to Education

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has expressed serious concern over the current state of the education system, stating that Artificial Intelligence (AI) poses a far greater threat than issues such as the NEET exam paper leaks, cancellations, or student suicides. In a post on X, Varma said that while the NEET controversy has exposed flaws in the system, AI has the potential to completely transform and disrupt the future of education and employment.

Varma noted that education was once about providing limited information and preparing students for predictable careers. However, in today's digital era, information is available everywhere, and AI can process, analyze, and generate answers much faster than the human brain. He argued that traditional education models and outdated skills are rapidly losing relevance in a world driven by technological advancements.

According to Varma, students must focus on learning how to use AI instead of relying solely on degrees and marks. He warned that professional courses such as Engineering, Medicine, Law, CA, and MBA could lose their value if they fail to adapt to AI-driven changes. He urged students, parents, and educators to embrace AI-based learning, saying that those who ignore the technology risk being left behind in the future job market.
