Inflation in Andhra Pradesh has witnessed a sharp rise, increasing from 2.82% in January to 4.90% in May, according to a report by SBI Research. The state has consistently recorded inflation rates higher than the national average every month, raising concerns over price stability.
The report indicates that rising prices of essential commodities have put a heavy burden on the public. Experts suggest that lack of effective control measures has contributed to the surge, making daily life more expensive for common citizens across the state.
