Salman Khan Extends Support to Assam Flood Victims

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has stepped forward to support families displaced by the devastating floods in Assam. The actor has extended his support to the 'Aashiyana – Hope Begins with a Safe Shelter' initiative, which aims to provide permanent and secure housing to families who lost their homes in the natural disaster. The project plans to build 500 houses, helping hundreds of affected families rebuild their lives with safety and dignity.

Construction work has already begun in Assam's Nepali Khuti region, where around 220 houses have been completed in the first phase. Organisers believe the initiative will significantly improve the lives of flood-affected families by providing long-term shelter.
