A video allegedly showing Tamil Nadu Human Resources Minister D. Sarath Kumar using drugs has gone viral on social media. The clip, recorded during an IPL match, appears to show him crushing a white substance on a mobile phone screen using an ATM card, leading to widespread speculation online.

Responding to the controversy, Sarath Kumar clarified that the substance was not drugs. He explained that the incident took place nearly two years ago when his daughter fell ill at the stadium. According to the minister, he was crushing a tablet to give her medicine, and the viral claims are completely misleading.
