Tamil Nadu has a long-standing connection between cinema and politics, with several prominent leaders emerging from the film industry. Amid growing speculation about actors entering public life, Sivakarthikeyan has now drawn attention following a meeting with his fans in Chennai’s Porur. Around 3,000 fans reportedly attended the gathering, where his remarks triggered fresh discussion about his possible political plans. Calling himself a “people-made star” rather than a self-made star, Sivakarthikeyan credited the public for his success.
The actor also urged his fans not to waste time on social media and encouraged them to develop the habit of reading books. He said education, financial independence and taking good care of one’s family are among the qualities of a true fan. Sivakarthikeyan is currently working on ‘Seiyon’, directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, and ‘SK27’, directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan. While his film career remains busy, his recent interaction with fans has fueled further discussion about a possible political entry.
