The Navaratri Brahmotsavams at Tirumala are being celebrated with grandeur and devotion. On the second day’s morning, Sri Malayappa Swamy appeared before devotees in the divine form of Lord Krishna from Dwarka. Seated on the five-headed Chinna Sesha Vahanam, the deity was taken in a procession through the Mada streets of Tirumala, blessing devotees who gathered to witness the occasion.
The procession was accompanied by the chanting of Govinda’s name, auspicious musical performances, traditional kolatam dances and wooden-stick bhajans. According to religious beliefs, witnessing the Chinna Sesha Vahanam is associated with family well-being and spiritual benefits linked to Kundalini Yoga. The event was attended by Tirumala’s senior and junior Jeeyar Swamijis, TTD Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra, Additional Executive Officer Venkaiah Chowdary and CVSO Muralikrishna.
