Srisailam Temple to Conduct Varuna Yagam

The Srisailam Devasthanam in Nandyal district will conduct the Varuna Yagam from August 7 to 11, seeking timely and abundant rainfall across Andhra Pradesh. The temple authorities stated that the sacred ritual is being organized to overcome prevailing dry conditions and to pray for the welfare, prosperity, and agricultural well-being of the state.

According to the Devasthanam Chairman and Executive Officer, Vedic rituals and Varuna Yagam ceremonies will be performed from August 7 to 9. On August 10, Sahasra Ghatabhishekam will be offered to Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy, while Navaavarana Archana and special Kumkumarchana will be performed for Goddess Bhramaramba Devi. The Mahayagam will conclude on August 11 with Purnahuti, Kalashodvasana, and Mahadasirvadam, invoking divine blessings for timely rains, public welfare, and prosperity.
