Supreme Court Shocks Sonam

The Supreme Court of India has cancelled the bail granted to Sonam Raghuvanshi, the prime accused in the sensational Meghalaya honeymoon murder case. A bench comprising Justices M.M. Sundresh and P.B. Varale directed Sonam to surrender before the police within three weeks, setting aside the bail order issued by the Shillong High Court.

The Meghalaya Government had challenged the High Court's decision before the Supreme Court. After hearing the petition, the apex court revoked Sonam's bail and observed that she may file a fresh bail application if the trial is not completed within six months.
