Tatkal Booking Woes May End Soon as IRCTC Revamp Ordered

Indian railway passengers continue to face major issues with the IRCTC website, especially during Tatkal bookings at 10 AM. Users frequently report slow loading, CAPTCHA confusion, payment failures, and session timeouts, leading to tickets getting booked within seconds and causing heavy frustration.

After MNIT Jaipur students raised these concerns with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, he immediately responded and directed officials to launch a fully upgraded IRCTC website by July 15. The new system is expected to improve speed, stability, and user experience, while reducing issues caused by bots and technical glitches.
