Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said the state government aims to transform Telangana into a major global investment destination, with a target of becoming a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047. Speaking at the inaugural session of the SAMAKHYA Business Summit 2026, he highlighted the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document released in 2025. The state’s development strategy is based on three regional economic zones: CURE, PURE and RARE. The Core Urban Region Economy, within the Outer Ring Road, will focus on IT, services, advanced technology and innovation. The Peri-Urban Region Economy, between the Outer Ring Road and Regional Ring Road, will promote manufacturing, industrial parks and logistics, while rural areas will prioritise agriculture, food processing, agro-based industries and employment.
The Chief Minister said Telangana currently contributes around 5% of India’s GDP and aims to increase its share to 10%. He called for cooperation on development beyond political differences and urged the Samakhya Chamber of Commerce to support young entrepreneurs and women-led businesses. Revanth Reddy said women in Telangana had received ₹61,000 crore in bank-linked loans, adding that women were also being encouraged to operate RTC buses, petrol pumps and solar power plants. He urged local entrepreneurs to move beyond providing services to corporate companies and invest in building globally competitive businesses of their own. The state government, he assured, would continue supporting investors and maintaining business-friendly policies as part of the Telangana Rising vision.
