BJP Telangana president Ramchander Rao attended an event marking the birth anniversary of former President and renowned scientist A. P. J. Abdul Kalam at the party’s state office in Hyderabad. He praised Kalam for his contribution to India’s defence sector, noting that the country remembers him as the “Missile Man of India.” Rao alleged that the Congress party had failed to give Kalam due recognition. He also said the Union government had announced bonuses for employees and introduced several measures to support persons with disabilities.
Rao alleged that farmers in Telangana were facing difficulties due to power supply issues and urged the state government to ensure reliable, uninterrupted electricity. He also raised concerns over alleged irregularities and disputes related to the 22-A prohibited land list. Criticising Rahul Gandhi over allegations of vote theft, Rao made remarks about the Gandhi family and alleged that foreign funding and certain non-governmental organisations were contributing to unrest. He said people, particularly the youth, were aware of developments affecting the country. These claims reflect Rao’s statements at the event.
