Telangana Employees Thank CM Revanth Reddy for Health and Insurance Schemes!

Leaders of employee, teacher, and pensioners’ associations expressed gratitude to Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for approving comprehensive health and insurance schemes for government staff and retirees. Following the state cabinet’s approval of accident insurance coverage worth ₹1.20 crore and a dedicated health scheme corpus of ₹1,056 crore, representatives from various associations met the Chief Minister at his residence on Tuesday to convey their appreciation. They described the schemes as historic, stating that the provision of cashless treatment for 1,998 diseases would significantly benefit employees and pensioners across the state and ensure long-term healthcare security.

During the meeting, association leaders also raised several pending issues, including long-awaited promotions for nearly 150 tahsildars in the Revenue Department, continuation of outsourcing operators, and wage revision for employees and pensioners. Requests were also made for compassionate appointments for the families of deceased VRAs and employment opportunities for eligible heirs. The Chief Minister reportedly responded positively to concerns raised regarding computer operators working in the Revenue Department, while association representatives thanked the government for introducing welfare measures aimed at improving employee welfare and administrative efficiency.
