Telangana Gains Momentum with Future City...Sridhar Babu Announces Ambitious Targets

Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu announced that the state aims to achieve a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047. He said Telangana currently contributes nearly 5% to India’s GDP and the government aims to increase this share to 10% by the centenary year of India’s independence.

The minister said policy stability, investor friendly governance, and infrastructure development are driving investments in Telangana. He highlighted that ₹21,000 crore in loans were provided to selfhelp groups, ₹600 crore was allocated for MSMEs, and a 30,000 acre Future City with a 200-acre AI City is being developed. He also said industrial approvals are being granted within 21 days through the TS-iPASS system.
