

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced a major welfare initiative for state government employees during a programme held at Ravindra Bharathi. The Telangana Government signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with 14 banks to provide accident insurance coverage for government employees. The Chief Minister stated that employee security is the responsibility of the government and emphasized that the insurance scheme would offer financial support and confidence to employees’ families during difficult times. He cited the successful insurance coverage provided to Singareni workers as an inspiration for extending similar benefits to government employees.
Revanth Reddy also highlighted the government’s commitment to employee welfare, timely salary payments, retirement benefits, and overall development of Telangana. He urged employees to contribute towards improving state revenue and assured them that the government would continue to stand by them. The Chief Minister stated that contract and outsourcing employees would also be covered under the accident insurance scheme. Ministers, senior officials, and banking representatives attended the MoU signing ceremony.
