Telangana High Court Issues Key Directives Against HYDRAA Commissioner

The Telangana High Court has directed the State government to relieve Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Protection Agency (HYDRAA) Commissioner AV Ranganath from his post after finding that demolition activities were carried out despite the existence of court orders restraining such action.

The court observed that the incident reflected a serious disregard for judicial authority and remarked that it was a classic case of the "Rule of Men" attempting to prevail over the "Rule of Law." The bench warned that ignoring court orders in this manner would weaken the foundations of democracy and emphasized that all authorities must act strictly within the framework of the law.
