Security agencies have reportedly foiled an alleged terror conspiracy targeting the Ram Temple in Ayodhya by arresting a suspect in Karnataka. The accused, identified as Sohail, is a migrant worker from Uttar Pradesh who was apprehended in Davangere district during a coordinated anti-terror operation. Investigators suspect that he maintained links with Pakistan-based terrorist organisations and was allegedly involved in planning an attack on the temple. Security agencies are continuing to interrogate the suspect to determine the extent of the conspiracy and identify possible associates.
Officials have intensified security measures around the Ayodhya temple following the arrest. Intelligence agencies are examining digital evidence, communication records and the suspect's alleged contacts with foreign-based handlers. Authorities have not yet disclosed complete details of the investigation, stating that further information will be released after questioning and forensic analysis are completed.
