TTD Board Meeting Today

The TTD Board meeting was held at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala under the chairmanship of TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu. The board discussed 62 agenda items, including major development works and administrative decisions. The meeting focused on inviting tenders for the construction of 100 rooms at Ontimitta and reviewing the payment system for contract workers under the quality cost-based model.

The board also discussed the construction of a double-line bridge between Kumara Dhara and Pasupu Dhara, allocation of funds for the development of Tatayyagunta Gangamma Temple, and recruitment of additional staff in the vigilance department. Decisions on a Rs.50 entry fee at the SV Museum, removal of 10 dilapidated cottages at TBC and ATC, giving preference to Telugu candidates in Veda Parayanam appointments, and increasing remuneration for artists under HDPP were also considered.
