Two New Flight Services Launched from Gannavaram

Passengers from Vijayawada’s Gannavaram International Airport have a reason to cheer, as two new flight services to Varanasi and Kolkata are being launched today. IndiGo will operate the services, which will be available three days a week. The new routes are expected to improve air connectivity from Vijayawada to important religious and commercial destinations.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu will virtually inaugurate the two services from Delhi. Airport officials and public representatives will participate in the event. The new flights are expected to save travel time for pilgrims, business travellers and passengers from the Amaravati capital region, with the direct connectivity to Varanasi particularly welcomed by Vijayawada residents.
