Unemployed Aspirants Disappointed Over Telangana Police Job Notification

The latest Telangana Police recruitment notification has disappointed many unemployed aspirants who had been waiting for government job opportunities. Candidates say that despite a large number of vacancies in the police department, the notification covers only around half of the available posts. They have also raised concerns over the limited number of vacancies in several districts and zones, with some areas having only single-digit posts.

Aspirants point out that civil and Armed Reserve constable posts are available in only 26 districts, while RSI and AR posts are reportedly unavailable in Zones 3, 5, 6 and 7. The absence of constable vacancies under the ‘CUR’ category has also added to their concerns. Candidates argue that the distribution of posts across districts and zones is unbalanced and fear that many aspirants could cross the upper age limit by the time the next notification is issued.
