

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has instructed officials to ensure that national highway projects in Telangana are completed within the stipulated deadlines. During a review meeting held at his office in New Delhi on Wednesday, he assessed the progress of ongoing highway projects in Telangana, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh. He emphasized the need for continuous monitoring of construction activities and strengthening of the supervisory mechanism.
Gadkari also highlighted the importance of adopting modern technology to enhance quality standards in road construction. He directed authorities to prioritize infrastructure development on highways and ensure that waterlogging does not occur during the monsoon season. He further suggested deploying quick response teams to handle such issues efficiently and maintain smooth traffic flow.
