Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has officially confirmed the peace agreement between the United States and Iran. The deal was signed digitally by US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, with Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif acting as a guarantor. The agreement came into effect on Wednesday and will remain valid for 60 days, during which both nations will hold talks for a permanent peace settlement.
Following the agreement, Khamenei made strong remarks about US President Donald Trump in a post on social media. He said Trump played a key role in pushing both sides toward the deal due to intense pressure and political strategy. However, he also warned that Iran will not accept excessive demands from the United States and will stand firm on its position. His comments came a day after the historic agreement, sparking global discussions.
