We Are Withdrawing the Protest at the Centre's Request - CJP

The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) announced the withdrawal of its protest after holding nearly two hours of talks with representatives of the Central government. The organization said the Centre had agreed to its three key demands and assured that a written commitment would be provided by Tuesday.

CJP stated that the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan marked the fulfillment of its first major demand. The organization also said it had requested the withdrawal of FIRs filed against protesting students and received an assurance that no further action would be taken against the protesters.

According to CJP, the Centre also agreed to withdraw cases against students across the country and provide ex gratia compensation as per existing rules. The organization described the outcome of the talks as a significant step and confirmed that it was ending its protest following the government's assurances.
