The Yadagirigutta Trust Board has taken several key decisions focused on the development of the famous Yadadri temple and providing better facilities for devotees. The board approved 26 proposals, including the construction of Deeksha-parulu and Nitya Kalyana mandapams on the hill, shelters along the steps, a Veda Patashala, a goshala and a grand arch at Rayagiri. It also decided to provide annadanam to around 2,000 devotees every day.
The board approved an online system under the supervision of TCS for Arjitha Sevas and daily temple rituals. Special sub-committees will also be formed to address devotees’ needs. Other decisions include installing stone idols at major junctions around the hill, constructing two Kalyana Kattas at Tulasi Cottage, setting up a dedicated office for donors on the hill and installing a solar power system along the Giripradakshina route.
