Megastar Chiranjeevi is reportedly planning to wrap up the shooting of Kaka, directed by Bobby (K. S. Ravindra), by December. With the makers targeting a Sankranti release, the team is said to be accelerating production to complete filming at least 20 days before the planned release. Chiranjeevi is expected to collaborate with director Srikanth Odela after this project. However, reports suggest that the director has requested another six months to develop the script, potentially delaying the project. Despite the speculation, producer Nani has reportedly clarified in previous interviews that rumours about the film being shelved are untrue.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is reportedly considering completing another film in the meantime. The names of directors Anil Ravipudi and Buchi Babu Sana are being discussed as possible choices for his upcoming projects. According to industry buzz, Chiranjeevi had earlier asked Buchi Babu to develop a commercial script for him during the production of Peddi. There is also speculation about a project featuring Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna under Anil Ravipudi’s direction. The collaboration could take shape after the director completes his films with Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram. Additionally, Chiranjeevi is reportedly making preparations for a discussion-based programme featuring prominent personalities. Which filmmaker he will work with after Kaka has become a topic of interest among fans and film circles.
