Pan-India star Yash’s upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is generating huge buzz in trade circles even before its release. The film’s theatrical and digital rights are witnessing strong demand, reflecting high expectations. Yash is not only acting in the film but is also stepping into distribution through his banner Monster Mind Creations, co-producing with KVN Productions. Reports suggest that he has retained Karnataka distribution rights along with a share in profits, planning a massive release across the state.
In Telugu states, the theatrical rights have reportedly been acquired by Sri Venkateswara Creations, owned by Dil Raju, for around ₹120 crore. This is considered a record deal for a non-Telugu film in the region. Meanwhile, streaming giants Netflix and Amazon Prime are said to have stepped back from the digital rights race, with Zee Studios currently in talks to acquire digital and satellite rights. With the trailer already boosting expectations, the film, set for release on August 26, is creating waves in the trade market.
