7 Films Releasing in Theatres Tomorrow... Box Office Buzz

After 11 films arrived in theatres last week but failed to make a strong commercial impact, moviegoers are now looking forward to the October second weekend. Although Venkatesh’s family entertainer ‘Adarsa Kutumbam’ has exited the race, seven new films are scheduled to hit theatres on October 9. The most anticipated release among them is Sree Vishnu’s ‘Comrade Kalyan’, a period entertainer set in 1990s North Andhra. Sree Vishnu will reportedly play a Naxalite, while Mahima Nambiar makes her Telugu debut as the female lead. Radhika, Shine Tom Chacko and Sathya are also part of the cast. The film is directed by Janakiram Marella and presented by Kona Venkat.

‘Ba... Ba.. Black Sheep’, a new-age crime comedy set against the backdrop of Meghalaya, is another release this week, featuring Upendra Limaye, Tinnu Anand, Raja Ravindra and Vishnu Oi. ‘Mayukha’, starring Payal Chengappa and Bigg Boss fame Aman Masood, is a seat-edge thriller directed by Sritej SK. The weekend lineup also includes the musical love story ‘Chakora’ and the youthful entertainer ‘Good Time’. Tamil film ‘Saptha Sagaralu Saptha Girulu’ and the Hindi spiritual film ‘Hanuman Ansh’ are also arriving in Telugu. With five straight Telugu films and two dubbed releases, the weekend offers a mix of crime comedy, thrillers, romance and devotional content.
