

Veteran actor Pradeep Rawat was laid to rest at the Oshiwara Crematorium in Mumbai on Wednesday, with family members, friends and several members of the film industry gathering to pay their final respects. The actor passed away on August 4 at the age of 74 after battling blood cancer. Actors Aamir Khan, Ashoke Pandit, Akhilendra Mishra, Raj Arjun, Karan V. Grover, Surendra Pal and Ruhanika Dhawan were among those who attended the funeral.
During the final rites, Rawat’s son Vikramaditya Rawat became emotional while recalling his father’s last moments and said the actor would have been happy to see the love and respect received from people. Aamir Khan remembered his longtime co-star as a fearless and committed performer, saying his powerful portrayal in Ghajini played a major role in making the film memorable. Salman Khan also paid tribute by sharing a throwback picture and recalling their bond.
