According to industry buzz, Akshay has agreed to play a powerful guest role in Neeraj Pandey's upcoming biopic on legendary composer R.D. Burman. Although the makers have not revealed details about the character, sources suggest it will have a significant impact on the story.

Farhan Akhtar is expected to portray R.D. Burman in the film, which is being jointly produced by Neeraj Pandey's production house and Excel Entertainment. The team is currently focused on music sessions and extensive pre-production to recreate the iconic composer's remarkable journey. If everything goes as planned, the big-budget project is expected to go on floors in September.
