Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has spoken about a disturbing cyber harassment incident involving his daughter Nitara while addressing a cybercrime awareness programme organised with the support of Mumbai Police. The actor shared the incident to highlight the growing risks children can face while interacting with strangers online, particularly through gaming platforms.

According to Akshay, the incident occurred a few months ago when Nitara was playing a video game and an unknown person contacted her online. The person initially attempted to start a casual conversation before asking whether she was a boy or a girl. After she identified herself as a girl, the individual made an inappropriate request. Nitara immediately stopped playing the game and informed her mother about what had happened. Akshay said the incident demonstrates how cybercriminals can initially appear friendly to gain a child's trust before revealing their real intentions.
