Tollywood star Allu Arjun appeared before the Nampally Court on Monday as part of the ongoing proceedings in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case that created nationwide attention. Although the court had earlier directed him to appear in person, the actor sought permission to attend the hearing through video conferencing, citing his ongoing film shoot schedules in Mumbai. Accepting his request, the court allowed him to participate virtually in the proceedings.
The case relates to the tragic stampede that occurred during the premiere show of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad in December 2024. A woman lost her life in the incident, while her son sustained serious injuries. The case has remained under judicial scrutiny ever since. Allu Arjun’s virtual appearance from Mumbai has once again brought the high-profile case into the spotlight, attracting significant attention from both the film industry and the public.
