Anurag Kashyap Joins Chiranjeevi’s ‘Kaka’

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming high-voltage action entertainer ‘Kaka’, directed by Bobby, is one of the most awaited films in Telugu cinema. The makers are speeding up the shoot while releasing regular updates. In the latest announcement, the team officially confirmed that Bollywood filmmaker and actor Anurag Kashyap has joined the cast in a powerful and crucial role. The announcement has further increased curiosity around the film, with Chiranjeevi’s fans expressing excitement over the combination.

Chiranjeevi will be seen as Kadiri Kalidas in ‘Kaka’, which also stars Anaswara Rajan, Nivetha Pethuraj, Sunil, Getup Srinu and Kannada actress Rachita Ram in key roles. Produced by Venkat K. Narayana under KVN Productions, the film has music by S. Thaman. The shooting and post-production works are progressing simultaneously. The film is being planned as a grand worldwide theatrical release on January 13, 2027, with the tagline ‘The Bloody Benchmark’.
