

‘Hanuman Ansh’, a spiritual drama based on the life of spiritual teacher Neem Karoli Baba, has been making headlines across the country. Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the film was released on August 7 and has reportedly achieved a major box-office milestone. Made on a reported budget of ₹2 crore, the movie has crossed ₹400 crore worldwide, according to the film’s team. Released in Hindi and several other languages, the film has drawn attention for combining spirituality with a cinematic experience.
The film is now set to reach Telugu audiences, with Hombale Films bringing the Telugu version to theatres worldwide on October 9. The announcement has generated interest among Telugu moviegoers following the response to the film in other languages. The makers have also announced that the story will be developed as a trilogy, with ‘Hanuman Ansh 2’ planned as the second instalment. Producer Anupriya Nagar said the team intends to make the sequel on a controlled budget as well, with an increase considered only if required by the story.
