Has the Speculation Around ‘Hiranyakashyapa’ Finally Been Put to Rest?

Director Gunasekhar has clarified the long-standing speculation surrounding the ambitious film 'Hiranyakashyapa'. Addressing reports that Trivikram Srinivas would direct the project, Gunasekhar stated that the filmmaker is associated only with the writing process and has no involvement in directing the film. He revealed that he personally spoke to Trivikram, who confirmed that his contribution was limited to script development.

Gunasekhar also disclosed that the project requires an estimated budget of around Rs.300 crore. He stated that major production houses such as Fox Studios and Disney initially showed interest in backing the film but later stepped away due to the massive budget requirements. His comments have now sparked fresh discussions among movie enthusiasts and industry circles.
