Set against the backdrop of the opium trade in the 1960s, the film features NTR Jr. in the lead, while Anil Kapoor is said to be playing Raghveer Rathore, the chief of India’s Narcotics Bureau. This would mark the first time NTR Jr. and Anil Kapoor share the screen, adding to the curiosity surrounding the project. Anil Kapoor previously appeared in the Telugu film Vamsa Vruksham (1980), and his reported return to Telugu cinema after 46 years is being seen as a significant milestone.
