Krithi Shetty to Test Her Luck in Bollywood with a Love Story

Uppena fame Krithi Shetty is set to make her Bollywood debut with an untitled romantic film. The makers formally announced the project after visiting Tirumala to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara. The film will mark the directorial debut of Vidhi Ghodgaonkar, who has worked as an assistant director, casting director and dialogue writer. She has reportedly worked with filmmaker Rohit Shetty for more than 17 years.

The film is being produced by AVS Studios, owned by Abhishek S. Vyas. Regular shooting is expected to begin soon, while details about the male lead have not yet been revealed. Krithi has had a relatively quiet run at the box office in recent years, and it remains to be seen whether her upcoming film January 12 Vidudala, directed by Anil Ravipudi, will change her fortunes. Her completed film Genie is also awaiting a release date.
