Nagaarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana Sequel Delayed?

Nagarjuna’s popular film ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, directed by Kalyan Krishna, became a massive Sankranti hit in 2016, featuring Ramya Krishnan and Lavanya Tripathi. Its sequel ‘Bangarraju’, starring Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya, also released during Sankranti 2022 and received a strong response. Following this success, Annapurna Studios had officially announced another sequel in the franchise with Kalyan Krishna directing once again.

However, despite early reports suggesting a Sankranti release next year, there has been no progress on the project’s shoot so far. Meanwhile, Nagarjuna is currently busy with his milestone 100th film directed by Ra Karthik. Industry buzz suggests that the ‘Soggade’ sequel has been put on hold for now as the actor is fully focused on his ongoing project.
