Rajinikanth’s Life Story Set for a New Chapter

Rajinikanth holds a special place in Indian cinema. He began his career as an ordinary bus conductor and overcame financial struggles, setbacks and several hardships to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. He made his silver-screen debut with ‘Apoorva Raagangal’ and gradually transformed from Shivaji Gaikwad into the iconic Rajinikanth. After making an impression as an antagonist under the direction of K. Balachander, he went on to establish himself as a leading actor with ‘Bairavi’. Over the decades, Rajinikanth’s name has become a powerful brand in Indian cinema.

Now, after more than five decades in the film industry, Rajinikanth is reportedly working on his life story. His daughter and filmmaker Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth revealed that the biography is shaping up well and compared it to the Bhagavad Gita and the Mahabharata in terms of its scale and depth. She said the story will first be released as a book and later adapted into a web series. His other daughter, Soundarya Rajinikanth, has also expressed the possibility of turning the story into a film. It remains to be seen when the project will reach audiences.
