SS Rajamouli Shares Exciting Update on Mahesh Babu's Varanasi

Acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli has revealed an exciting update about his highly anticipated action-adventure film Varanasi, starring Mahesh Babu in the lead role. The film also features Priyanka Chopra as the female lead and Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist. Based on a time-travel concept, the film is being mounted on a grand scale with a massive production budget.

Speaking in a recent interview with an international publication, Rajamouli confirmed that both filming and post-production are progressing simultaneously to ensure a smooth production schedule. Multiple internationally renowned VFX studios are contributing to the film's visual effects. Produced by KL Narayana and SS Karthikeya under the Durga Arts banner, with music by MM Keeravani, Varanasi is currently slated for a worldwide theatrical release on April 7 next year.
